Kristen Stewart isn't one to wear her heart on her sleeve -- which makes it extra-sweet that she got so emotional over her (fake) wedding to (real) beau Robert Pattinson. The on-and-off-screen couple walks down the aisle in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1, the fourth installment of the supernatural franchise. In the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, Stewart recalls how she got swept up in Bella and Edward's big day.
"It was one of the coolest things that I've done," says Stewart, 21. "There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming."
And what about the steamy tropical-island honeymoon that follows? Stewart doesn't get personal, but she's pleased with how it was filmed.
"It feels like a real love scene, not necessarily vampire-y, which is good,"says the star.
Still, this is the famously scowl-y Kristen Stewart we're talking about, so not everything is sunshine and roses. The actress expresses her disappointment that Breaking Dawn's infamous childbirth scene couldn't be more over-the-top, thanks to to the pressure to get a PG-13 rating.
"It's funny because when (the PG-13 issue) comes up, everybody thinks it's all about the sex," says Stewart. "The birth is really effective, and I've heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that's how it was written in the book. I would have loved to have been puking up blood."
Director Bill Condon, however, says that both scenes will pack a big wallop.
"We shot everything -- whether it's the lovemaking or the childbirth -- as potent and powerful as it can be," he says. "It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe."
The Twilight crew recently wrapped up shooting Edward and Bella's honeymoon scenes in the Virgin Islands. Us Weekly has some sexy paparazzi shots of Robsten frolicking in the water -- while People nabbed an exclusive photo of the on-screen couple playing chess. Which only goes to show that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart can make anything look hot.
